Le Manoir du Stang is the perfect venue for your wedding in La Forêt-Fouesnant, in southern Finistère. The ceremony, reception, dinner, evening festivities, overnight accommodations for your guests, and the day after all take place in the same location. You’ll have the entire estate to yourself for the duration of your event—whether it’s a Saturday, a Sunday, a three-day celebration, or a weekday wedding—so choose the package that’s right for you.
Rates: starting at €1,700 during the low season, up to €4,670 for all 17 rooms during the high season.

As it approaches its 600th anniversary, the Stang welcomes you so that you, too, can write a chapter in its history by celebrating the happiest day of your life here.
Both a stately home and a working farm, it has been home to only two families over the centuries, who have preserved its spirit and heritage.

The manor house has 17 rooms spread across its floors, rated ⭐⭐⭐, with a continental breakfast included. A guesthouse can accommodate 4 additional guests. The total capacity is 46 guests.

Each room is equipped with a private bathroom featuring a bathtub, a hairdryer, and all the necessary amenities.

Reception Halls & the Nomadic Tent
The two interior rooms.
An 86-square-meter dining room and an 80-square-meter living room. These spaces can be configured for a sit-down dinner, banquet, cocktail reception, or ceremony, depending on your needs. The venue can accommodate 100 guests from November through February, and 150 seated guests from April through October.
The 157-square-meter nomadic tent
From mid-March to mid-October. Versatile enough to suit your needs, it can host a dinner, a cocktail party, a dance floor, or a non-religious ceremony. The flooring, furniture, equipment, and lighting can all be customized to fit your event.
Outdoor spaces
The courtyard, the pond terrace, and the gardens. Three distinct venues for different times of the day: a reception on the terrace overlooking the water, cocktails in the courtyard, and the wedding reception under the tent on Sunday.
The 40-hectare estate features woods, ponds, a mill, pavilions, and a petting zoo with horses, donkeys, and sheep. The entire estate is exclusively yours for the duration of your event.
Why get married at the Manoir du Stang?
An ideal location. Just 17 minutes from Quimper and 14 minutes from Concarneau, the Manoir is easily accessible to your guests while offering the peace and space that a city center cannot provide.
Nearly six centuries of history. The Manoir du Stang was built in 1427, during one of Brittany’s most prosperous periods. Its stone dining room, mill, and historic timber beams provide a setting for your day that few estates in Finistère can match.
A fully private estate. For the duration of your wedding, you’ll have the entire 40-hectare property to yourselves. No other events taking place at the same time, and no onlookers. Depending on the season, the private booking lasts for 1, 2, or 3 days.
How to Plan Your Wedding at the Manoir du Stang?
1. You visit the estate, with no obligation, ideally 12 to 18 months before your planned date.
2. We provide a customized quote based on the season, the duration of the exclusive booking, the number of rooms, and the options.
3. Sign the contract and pay a 30% deposit. The balance is due in two installments: 20% six months before the date, and the remainder one month before.
4. On Friday at noon (or Saturday at noon during peak season), you take possession of the estate and set up your event with your vendors.
5. The wedding day unfolds at your own pace, without time constraints imposed by another event.
6. Sunday: brunch, reception, and departure at 5:00 PM during low and mid-season.

Rates depend on the season, the length of the private booking, and the number of rooms reserved.
How many rooms should I book?
The way the accommodations are organized follows a simple logic:
- From May through September, you can book all 17 rooms or none at all. The manor occasionally hosts other guests in its guest rooms during the high season; holding a wedding while other guests are staying there simply wouldn’t work.
- From October through April, the manor is normally closed. We open when at least four rooms are booked. For larger groups, please contact us so we can discuss your needs.
The cottage must be booked separately, in addition to the package you have chosen.

Important note: “Private use of the venues” refers to the rental of the two indoor venues and the nomad tent, without accommodations. Packages that include accommodations add lodging in accordance with the rules above.
