Glénan Archipelago (departing from Port-La-Forêt)
Comprising nine main islands and a multitude of islets, the Glénan Islands are a unique and must-see archipelago located south of the bay.
Known for its sailing school and its clear waters, which are ideal for scuba diving thanks to the Maërl (“Breton coral”), it is also compared by sailors to French Polynesia.
Its turquoise waters, white sand, and “chamber” (which you can walk across at low tide during spring tides) make it a favorite spot among locals.

Forest Bay (3 km)
From the tip of Beg Meil to Fort Cabellou, explore over 30 km of the Customs Officers’ Trail (GR34).
The coves of Kersaux, St. Laurent, St. Jean, the Old Port, and Penfoulic will introduce you to a rugged coastline teeming with marshes and wildlife.
You’ll also meet oyster farmers who invite seafood lovers to sample oysters, langoustines, crabs, and shrimp right in front of their oyster beds, which are exposed at low tide.
For those who enjoy sports or adventure, the bay can be explored by sailboat, canoe, or boat.
Mousterlin (12 km)
The Pointe de Mousterlin, which juts out into the sea like the bow of a ship, is located in Fouesnant.
The White Sea, with its lagoon, stretches from its tip to Bénodet, with landscapes that change with the tides.
The dune sheltering it from the ocean faces the Îles des Moutons, with a beach of fine white sand stretching for several kilometers on either side.
Its marshes and polders offer a refreshing escape between land and sea, where you can discover a rich biodiversity where birds reign supreme: egrets, gray herons, red-crested pochards, and even Siberian geese!
Pointe du Raz (70 km)
At the very tip of Cap Sizun, the Pointe du Raz is one of those majestic places where the land wages its final battle against the ocean.
As if the stubborn Breton granite refused to leave the sea in peace, it forces its way into its domain and tears at its shores with its jagged edges. It never acknowledges the sea’s authority. It opposes its fury with its formidable mass.
It scratches and gouges at her—when she finally calms down—with its many spikes and the rocks that extend from them.
